More legal woes for “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley and her husband PK. News outlet The Blast is reporting that the couple owes nearly $1 million to the IRS.
According to the report court documents state that, the Uncle Sam has filed two federal tax liens over unpaid tax bills. The first lien, which includes the reality couple is for unpaid taxes in 2015 totaling $653,887.23.
The second lien names only PK and accuses him of failing to pay an additional $289,423.67 for the years 2014 and 2016, bringing the total to $925,310.90 for both liens.
According to the report the IRS has begun the process of seizing assets from the couple if they don’t start paying back taxes quickly.
This isn’t the first legal woe for PK Kemsley, who was hit with a $1.2 million lawsuit in New York in 2016 after failing to pay back Nicos Kirzis.
Kirzis explained he loaned Kemsley a total of $1.2 million back in 2011. At the time, he claimed Kemsley had not repaid a dime from the loans, despite having agreed to a 2013 deadline.
Kemsley claimed that his 2013 bankruptcy in the U.K. wiped the debt clean but Kirzis said he was never listed as a creditor in the case.
Kemsley tried to fight the case in court, citing his bankruptcy discharge.
Eventually a New York judge sided with Kirzis, ordering Kemsley to pay $1.2 million owed — plus interest and other costs, for a grand total of $1,235,573.66.
Last month, Kirzis filed documents in California to register the judgment there, which is the first step a creditor takes to begin the process of seizing assets.
In 2013, PK was also sued by The Bellagio Hotel and Casino for failing to pay a $3.6 million marker. Since the judgement he has made payments to satisfy that debt, however earlier this month the Casino filed paperwork in California, to also begin the process of seizing assets.
