Dana White went nuclear on Oscar De La Hoya during the “UFC Unfiltered” podcast Tuesday morning, calling the Golden Boy Promotions owner a “f******* cokehead” for the Chuck Liddell vs. Tito Ortiz 3 fight over the weekend.
White blasted the former boxing champ for over 10 minutes, venting about the fight and calling De La Hoya a “cokehead junkie” who “snorts about 12 pounds of coke in the morning and shows up where they want him to show up.”
His concern for Liddell was cut with rage toward De La Hoya for promoting the fight and the California State Athletic Commission for sanctioning it.
“People even think I’m remotely bad mouthing Chuck Liddell, but the reality is — first of all, I heard last week the cokehead ‘Oscar De La Weirdo’ is talking s*** that I don’t have any place to tell guys when to retire.”
“First of all, it’s called ‘friendship’ you f****** cokehead.”
“I’ve been friends with Chuck Liddell for 20 years and the reality is that Chuck Liddell retired when he should have retired. Eight, nine years ago, however long it was. And, Chuck Liddell’s almost 50-years-old and has no business fighting anymore.”
White said he was shocked the UFC Hall of Famer “allowed himself to be talked into this stupid s***”
Liddell who was knocked out in the first round against Ortiz was quoted as saying he “doesn’t know” if he will step into the ring again after Saturday.
So far no word back from Golden Boy Promotions who took a jab at White and the UFC in the past for the Mayweather vs. McGregor.
