He will be out for an extended amount of time and will begin rehabilitation immediately, the team said Tuesday. An MRI confirmed the tear.
Cousins’ noncontact injury occurred while pursuing a 50/50 ball with 8:30 remaining in the first quarter on Monday’s to the LA Clippers in Game 2 of their playoff series.
The trailer for Season 16 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered Wednesday and the clip is intense to say the least. The upcoming episodes of the E! reality show look full of serious drama, dealing with the fallout of the recent Tristan Thompson/Jordyn Woods cheating scandal.
The clip begins with Khloé Kardashian offering a tearful interview to the camera in the aftermath of the scandal, “It just sucks it has to be so public. I’m not just a TV show — like this is my life.”
Also in the trailer, momager, Kris Jenner offering a toast to Woods and Kylie Jenner in what looks to be a celebration dinner for the duo’s makeup collaboration for Kylie Cosmetics.
E! also insinuated that another clip from the trailer finds Kardashian watching Woods’ appearance on Red Table Talk, with the Good American designer screeching “LIAR” so intensely that her best friend Malika Haqq had to hold her back.
“We just can’t seem to catch a break,” Kris is heard saying, before Kardashian’s voice tells someone, “You called me and said that you were the watchdog.” Referring to Woods, as she reportedly called Kardashian after Thompson’s party to tell her she only went to the NBA player’s house to keep an eye on things.
Kardashian later reflects on her relationship with Thompson, which has since ended, noting, “Tristan might love me, whatever that means. But he has no respect for me, whatsoever.”
Kylie also seems to react to the cheating scandal on camera, saying, “I just hope that there’s a light at the end of this tunnel, but I don’t see it right now.”
Despite Kylie’s appearance, a source told Us Weekly that the 21-year-old took a break from filming the show after the scandal.
“Kylie took a little break from filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians and recently got back into filming and it’s been a struggle and difficult,” the source said “She was very upset about the situation with Jordyn and also just didn’t want to deal with it and have to address it.”
Plotlines involving the other sisters are also addressed, including Kim Kardashian and Kanye West deciding to have their fourth child and discussing a potential move to Chicago, something Kim doesn’t seem thrilled about, noting, “Moving to Chicago might be my breaking point.”
The couple did buy a home in the city in September.
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick discuss their love lifes, with Kourtney admitting she’s only ever been in love with one person and Disick saying, “I didn’t think that I was going to find happiness again,” likely in reference to his relationship with Sofia Richie.
The entire trailer is interspersed with footage from West’s newly-initiated Sunday Service, giving the whole thing an incredibly dramatic vibe capped off by West’s 2010 song “Runaway.”
Season 16 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians premieres Sunday, March 31 on E! at 9 p.m. ET.
Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers put the lid on speculation that he would be coaching elsewhere after the season, revealing Tuesday that he and the Clippers verbally agreed to a longer-term contract extension earlier this season.
Rivers, responded to a question about his potential candidacy for the Los Angeles Lakers’ head coach position,if the franchise decides to move on from Luke Walton following a disappointing season, Rivers shut down any idea of him moving to L.A.’s other NBA team.
“Well, I have a job and the Lakers have a coach, No. 1, and I am going nowhere,” Rivers said before the Clippers’ win over the Pacers Tuesday night.
“I can tell you that. Straight and up front, I’m going to be here until [Clippers owner] Steve [Ballmer] says get out. I plan on being here a long time.”
He added that Ballmer agreed to a contract extension last summer which included the option for Rivers to get out of the contract this summer if he chose to. But Rivers said he and Ballmer already have verbally agreed to forgo the option and work out a longer extension, which is pending the completion of paperwork.
“Just so we won’t talk about this for a while, let me end this right now: [Lakers president] Magic Johnson and I are very close friends, as you know, and that’s what we are,” Rivers said. “[But] early in this year, we [Ballmer and I] both decided let’s end this thing. Take this [option] out and extend and make it a longer deal. We’ve long decided on that. We just have chosen not to say anything about it. I’m here. My job is not done here.
“I came here for a lot of reasons, and one of them was obviously to win a world championship, and the other one was to make this a place that people respect and want to come here. I think we are accomplishing that part, but not the first part, yet. That’s my goal and that’s it. We don’t need to go on this anymore, thank you, please. I’m going to be here and I am looking forward to the future.”
Rivers is in his sixth season with the Clippers, arguably his best coaching job. Although the Clippers entered the season with low expectations they are in eighth place in the Western Conference, winning eight of their last nine games.
