Shouhed has also been hit with weapons charges, which include criminal storage of a loaded firearm and possession of an assault weapon.
The domestic violence victim was initially unknown but Shouhed’s fiancé Paulina Ben-Cohen has since identified herself as the alleged victim.
“Paulina’s primary focus is on keeping herself and her children safe,” her lawyer, Joshua Ritter, told Page Six in a statement.
“She supports the work that the police and the City Attorney’s Office have done, and she continues to cooperate with them while looking forward to putting this sad situation behind her and moving on with her life.”
While the couple remain together, they were also pictured by TMZ several weeks after the arrest on vacation with Paulina’s children in Mexico.
Insiders told the site at the time that the duo kept some distance from one another, were not affectionate, and didn’t speak much to each other.
Sources felt the couple had planned the trip before the arrest, based on their behavior during the vacation.
Shouhed was arrested in connection with domestic violence March 27 and charged March 28, E! News reported after reviewing Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department records; Shouhed was subsequently released on $50,000 bond.
Alex Kessel, a lawyer for Shouhed, told E! News April 4, “At this time, the only comment I can make with confidence is my client in no way committed any act of domestic violence and the truth will prevail.”
Shouhed and Ben-Cohen revealed they were engaged last summer during the show’s ninth season reunion after years of dating and living together in Los Angeles after purchasing a home there last May.
