Just shy of a two decade-long run, Harrison began hosting with the franchise when it began in 2002. According to Variety, “Harrison is said to be very passionate about Bachelor Nation, and was hoping to make it work to keep his job. But as the situation escalated, his team became outraged with the dragging-out process and was unhappy with the network and studio not publicly supporting Harrison, since he has been with the show since the very beginning and is an integral part of its success.” This has led to a grapple over an exit package, handled by Harrison’s lawyer.
Harrison hired power attorney Bryan Freedman who had previously represented Megyn Kelly in her $69 million exit deal from NBC News and also Gabrielle Union during her departure from America’s Got Talent. And from what we’ve heard, Harrison left with a deal of 8 figures and a promise to keep his mouth shut.
