Royal Caribbean’s epic new cruise ship, called Wonder of the Seas, will set sail in 2022, but just this week the the vessel, based in Shanghai, China, made waves when first-lookers for a peek of the 82ft- long ship. One of the features that has everyone talking is the 10-deck-high zip line as well as Ultimate Abyss – the tallest slide at sea at 10 stories high.
While the ship is currently under construction in Saint-Nazaire, France, the 210ft wide, 236,857 ton vessel features a total of 18 decks, will have 2,867 staterooms and will accommodate up to 6,988 guests.
Royal Caribbean says that the Oasis-class ship will have “the signature amenities the world’s largest and unmatched ships are known for since they first revolutionized cruising more than a decade ago, including the unique neighborhood concept” On top of that, Wonder of the Seas will have eight neighborhoods that guests can explore.
