Season 25 of The Bachelor had the first black lead, Matt James who was also a newbie to the franchise. While the lead is typically taken from a previous season but for James, this experience was a first along with the rest of the contestants.

James brought in a new type of energy and dynamic that attracted the ladies and viewers instantly. And although he tried his best to keep it drama free and put his best food forward in finding true love, things just don’t always go as planned.
