Paper bags of popcorn and scanning the FM airwaves to find your movie’s audio is undeniably quaint—but sitting in your car, separate from other moviegoers, is exactly what this time of social distancing calls for.

With many restrictions in place to combat COVID-19 remaining in place for the foreseeable future, drive-in movie theaters offer a perfect way to get out and enjoy a warm evening, and while the number of drive-ins dropped to all time lows in recent years, the experience is finding its way back into households around the country.
