Matt James has been honest and vulnerable throughout season 25 of The Bachelor. Since episode one he has been transparent about his childhood with an absent father and his fear of the effects it could have on his love life.The 29-year-old Bachelor has been “conflicted” over “what a long-term commitment” really is when it comes to romance. And in the most recent episode, James invited his father over to get clarity on whether or not he will carry his father’s habits and also for an apology for their empty past.
