There has been a multitude of comments, emotions, and actions being taken within the Bachelor franchise ever since Rachael Kirkonnell’s past resurfaced. The season 25 front runner has been exposed for liking problematic photos on social media which include the confederate flag, bullying a previous friend for dating a black man and attending an Old South plantation-themed fraternity party in her [recent] college years. Former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay spoke out against Kirkonnell’s actions of racism which also included a sit down interview with franchise host, Chris Harrison. However, the beloved host didn’t carry the conversation in a way that America would have hoped, leading him to take a step back from hosting the show.
