There has been a lot brewing for Bachelor Nation off-screen despite being in the middle of Matt James’ Bachelor season, and incase you missed all the drama lets fill you in, as we recently learned one two of the show’s veteran’s are stepping away.

ICYMI, longtime franchise host Chris Harrison received widespread criticism after an interview on Extra with former Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay, where he spoke extensively through a 14-minute discussion, seemingly defending a racist social media controversy swirling around contestant, and frontrunner from James’ season, Rachel Kirkconnell.

After Kirkconnell, 24, was accused of being racist by a TikTok user last month, alleged screenshots of her “liking” controversial Instagram posts, including an image of two women posing in front of a Confederate flag, surfaced online. Earlier this month, Kirkconnell came under fire again when photos surfaced of her and her sorority sisters at Georgia College at a plantation-themed frat party.
