Last week, Denver Broncos defensive lineman Shelby Harris informed the team that he had been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. Even though Harris did not test positive himself, the defender was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and missed Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, a 34-27 loss.
In hindsight, Harris’ decision was crucial.
Harris tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, KOA Radio’s Benjamin Allbright first reported. League rules will require Harris to stay away from the facility for at least 10 more days, which means he won’t play against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10.
