There’s no hiding it anymore. The Jets are selling.
Not only are they 0-6, but they’ve already moved on from Jamal Adams, Le’Veon Bell and Steve McLendonthis season year – three of their most important leaders on offense and defense. General manager Joe Douglas is trying to rid himself of as many valuable assets as he can, likely in an attempt to flush out the mistakes of the previous regimes and build up a surplus of draft picks and salary cap space to fund his full-scale rebuild.
t’s a bold strategy, especially in a football era that thrives off instant gratification, but if you’re to going to sell, you might as well sell the whole farm. Linebacker Avery Williamson already noted this week that “no one is safe” after Bell’s release, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Jets trade more players before the deadline on Nov. 3.
With that in mind, here are five other Jets who could be dealt before the deadline.
