As the New England Patriots get set to take on the Denver Broncos in week five action, Patriots coach Bill Belichick acknowledge progress from receiver Gunner Olszewski.
The second-year receiver has begun to find his groove this season, and he is beginning to become more than just a special-teams player. He had a minimal impact in his 2020 debut, last Monday’s game against Kansas City. He caught a pass for 11 yards after starting the season in injured reserve.
Even still, Belichick likes what Olszewski brings to the table, and the improvement that he has shown. As the Patriots continue to adapt to their new-look wide receiver group, Olszewski is certainly a part of that. Here’s what Belichick said on Thursday.
