Casting is already underway for Matt James season of ABC’s The Bachelor.  On the heels of the announcement, which according to a source, “was not a last-minute decision,” execs are hard at work looking for the 28-year-old’s would-be matches.

As we previous told you, the real estate agent was announced as the season 25 lead on Good Morning America on Friday, June 12, making him the first black Bachelor. James was originally set to be part of Clare Crawley‘s season of The Bachelorette, which was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and will most likely begin filming next month.
