Bravo Star Dies, Just One Week After Being Diagnosed With Coronavirus

The announcement came just one week after Floyd’s last social media post, that the famed chef and reality star has passed away due to the Coronavirus.

The representative from Hunger Inc. Hospitality Group, Floyd’s company, confirmed to to People, that he passed from complications due to the Coronavirus at Mountainside Medical Center in New Jersey.  He was just 59.

Cordoz was born in Bombay, India and he moved to New York City to follow his passion to work in restaurants.

In 1997, he partnered up with renowned restaurant owner Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group to open a contemporary Indian restaurant, Tabla, which has since evolved into a well-known Manhattan restaurant, and earned three stars in the New York Times.
