Winner of Top Chef Masters Floyd Cardoz had taken to Instagram on March 18th to announce that he had taken himself to the hospital and apologizing for a previous post.

“Sincere apologies everyone. I am sorry for causing undue panic around my earlier post. I was feeling feverish and hence as a precautionary measure, admitted myself into hospital in New York. I was hugely anxious about my state of health and my post was highly irresponsible causing panic in several quarters. I returned to New York on March 8th via Frankfurt”

He was soon met comments by colleagues and fans all over the world, who wished him a quick speedy recovery.

However, on Wednesday March 25, a representative for the ‘Top Chef’ star announced the unthinkable.
