In August, a source told In Touch Weekly that Nicole was getting her life “back on track” with a new job as a barista at Starbucks and an apartment of her own. Also enrolling her 5-year-old daughter, May in kindergarten.
“She’s starting this new phase of living on her own, working, and putting May into school… She’s focusing on those aspects of her life right now before she can consider going to Morocco or starting a future with Azan,” the source said at the time.
Nicole concluded in her Instagram comment, “Four, don’t believe rumors. Because 90% of what y’all read on the internet about him and us is false. Trust me or not, that’s not my business. I don’t put all of our life out there. That’s not called lying, it’s called privacy. Good day.”
Although Nicole’s initial plans included marrying Azan when she quit her job, then traveled to Morocco in 2018, it seems as though the plans were canceled due to alleged time and financial constraints.
At the time, Azan seemed to convince Nicole to invest $6,000 of her wedding money into opening a beauty store instead, while he planned to contribute $500 to the overall cost.
It’s unclear whether that store was a real possibility or will ever actually open considering both Nicole and Azan have made different claims in recent months.
However, when their wedding will take place, however, is now clearly up in the air again.
